No, Nero Linux 3 is only designed for Linux operating system so it´s not possible to install Nero Linux 3 on Windows. Currently the following Linux Distributions are supported:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4

  • SuSE Linux 10.0

  • Fedora 4

  • Debian GNU/Linux 3.1

  • Ubuntu 5.10


Nero Linux 3 supports all higher versions of the above supported distributions.

Under Linux, all the devices are associated with specific files called device files. All device files that are available on your machine are located inside the /dev directory. Depending on the version of the Linux kernel you are using, your recorder device file name may differ, due to the low-level driver it is using.
In any case, if Nero Linux detects that something is misconfigured on your system, it will warn you when starting.
